MESSAGE FROM PRINCIPAL TIFFANY PHELPS
BCE Families,
I know I often speak about being new to the BCE community. I feel it gives me a unique perspective. This new experience affords me the opportunity to soak in how special Barton Creek Elementary really is. I know I don't have to tell you all this, but BCE is unlike other schools. It's a one-of-a-kind place and I know I'm not alone in this opinion. Another new to BCE parent had the following to say, "BCE is a super special school and we feel so grateful to have our kids learning in an environment where events like STEAM are a top priority!" This leads me to the purpose behind the first ever "Special Edition Blue Jay Bulletin". In case you haven't heard this already from your kids, STEAM Day was AMAZING! It was so amazing, I felt it warranted a stand alone document to highlight the event and recognize those that put in hours and hours of their time to make it a hit. Please enjoy the pictures and acknowledgements below. You will see it was a fun day of learning and an experience our students will always remember.
