A Time to Give Thanks

Image

Music has the power to impact our lives in so many different ways. It inspires us to dream and create while allowing us to express our gratitude for everyone and everything!

Last Friday, at our Veterans Day assembly the students showed their appreciation to all of our Veterans and current active military. It was amazing to see the whole school join in song to express how thankful they are for those who have served our country. The music filled many of the Veterans' hearts with joy and they shared their appreciation to the BCE community for honoring them at the assembly.

Every day, our students show an attitude filled with gratitude and appreciation for others.

Yesterday, our First Grade Jamin' Jayz presented their fall musical to the school. We ended the performance with a song, called "Gratitude Attitude," where students expressed what they are grateful for. One student said that she was grateful for her family and another student said that he was grateful for his friends.

Whatever it may be that you are thankful for, the BCE faculty/staff are truly fortunate to be able to work with such amazing students and parents. We hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving break with family, football and lots of pumpkin pie!

Happy Thanksgiving!

Ms. McNicholas

Today, the Fourth Grade transformed into The Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. The young wizards were inducted into their houses and participated in magical activities such as: escape the room, solving enchanting math word problems, and building magical electrical circuits.

Thank you to the incredible parents that made the decorations and scarves.
